Marianne Falardeau
Marianne Falardeau is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences at the University of Quebec (TELUQ) and an associate member of the Institute of Integrative Biology and Systems (IBIS). She holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Sciences (McGill University) and completed a postdoc (Université Laval), receiving fellowships including from the L’Oréal-UNESCO excellence program for Women in Science. Dr. Falardeau collaborates with Inuit communities to study Arctic marine social-ecological systems in the changing Arctic and pathways for adaptation and sustainability. She is an eager science communicator and is engaged in various initiatives aimed to support equity, diversity, and inclusion in science.
